Tensions flared outside Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California as liberal activists confronted conservative counter-demonstrators during the opening of a Christian summit hosted by the Family Research Council.
Protesters waved LGBTQ and pro-Palestine flags, while conservative groups, including Proud Boys, gathered with banners honoring late activist Charlie Kirk. Police were deployed to prevent physical altercations as both sides exchanged chants and arguments over issues of faith, nationalism, and inclusion.

The conference, criticized by several pro-immigrant and pro-LGBTQ organizations, is expected to continue through the weekend with further demonstrations planned.
