I really wasn't liking where my previous video chain was going, specifically with regards to party formation. I found that with the thief, despite the reputation for being an agile character, there were a lot more back attacks than normal. The red mage is a glass semi-cannon. Sure, he can swipe with his swords while he's not casting spells, but his damage output is small and his spell selection is atrocious pre-class-change.

Seriously, who can learn Fire3 but not Bolt3 or Ice3? That just doesn't fly with me, especially when I need it for the fire cavern. You'd figure if you can learn one, you can learn them all, right?

Alas, here we are again, from the beginning, with better planning. Prepare for the ultimate party of Warrior, Monk, White Mage and Black Mage!
