Battle Yak Miniatuers: Behold the Blighterghast Reanimators!
46Today we're going to take a little side trip into 3D printing territory.
I'm still learning how to do it on my end, but that doesn't mean I haven't been combing the net for interesting models! Let me apologize ahead of time for any and all blemishes
So today I bring you Battle Yak Miniatures, and their range of Blighterghast Reanimators. A selection of undead constructs with a variety of modular bits and bases to match, they've got a nice unified aesthetic that obviously some time and thought was put in to.
My first thought is they'd make nice Mechanithralls for Cryx but the aesthetic wouldn't really match. On the other hand they'd also make for some fun servitor types for 40k games, or any sort of undead automaton you need performing menial duties in a mad scientists lab.
The assortment consists of three different model types:
Wargast Bilespewers (the ranged guys)
Wargast Kludgebrutes (the close combat guys)
Wargast Blighthulk (the big fatty)
First off, ignore my TERRIBLE support removal. That's 100% me. I'm slowly getting better at it.
All of the models in the range have at least modular joints on the arms, and the smaller guys have modular head options as well. There is a fair amount of choices for both heads and hands.
The hulk could hypothetically have the smaller models' arms upscaled for it, but I haven't tried that myself. It might make for some fun varieties.
My only (slight) disappointment is the bile spewer guns aren't modular. It would have been fun to have a double barreled version.
While the smallest base option included with them is for a 30mm base they can comfortably fit on a 25mm round one if you want them taking up less real estate on the table.
