Ok guys so I upgraded to the 6700k for video editing & decided to take the opportunity to do a quick BF1 comparison test in multiplayer 32 & 64 player /w a weaker card such as the GTX 1060 as opposed to all the 1080 reviews flying around as I've been suspicious with CPU performance & possible bottlenecks in the system other than the GPU.

I wasnt expecting a huge difference to be honest but was hoping for lower average CPU utilization or possibly higher FPS with the GTX 1060 & in a way thats kindof what happened. FPS drops below 100 are almost completely eliminated in 64 player maps though max fps didnt really improve, what I DID NOT expect is the 6700k@4.5ghz to max out so easily & actually hit 100% on all 8 threads at times.. I'll need to conduct further testing(especially on ultra preset) to verify that it isnt placebo, but gaming while recording feels ALOT smoother than with the 6600k. Otherwise I'll just let the video speak for itself.

The next thing I'll be doing is comparing my current 2400mhz ram to 3000mhz+ ram before finally upgrading the GTX 1060 to something a little stronger.

The CPU swap was plug & play INCLUDING the 4.5ghz OC + bios & voltage settings were untouched, I was HOPING it would work but didnt expect such a smooth transition without changing a single setting.
