Battlefield 2042 Multiplayer Gameplay in 2025!
7Often regarded as the worst Battlefield in the entire series, Battlefield 2042 still some how continues to maintain around 4,200 players daily four years after it's initial launch. There are many reasons why Battlefield 2042 has such a bad reputation within the Battlefield Community, one of them being the terrible decision to replace the traditional class system with Specialists. The Specialist system completed negated the teamwork aspect of Battlefield which is an important element that makes this series special and different from it's other FPS competitors. Another bad decision DICE made was changing the 32 vs 32 player format into a ridiculous 64 vs 64 format which is just too many players honestly and it also leads into the next big issue, the maps themselves. Battlefield 2042's maps are way too huge, empty, lifeless, devoid of cover, and lack any significant land marks or power positions. The destruction in this game has been significantly toned down compared to previous titles in the series which is another element that is very crucial to a Battlefield Game.
