For people who havent seen jackfrags video on it, here's what we know so far:
No singlepayer campaign. "Story elements woven into maps"
128 players on pc and next gen, 64 on ps4/xbox one
New "plus system" for guns lets you change scope, barrel, ammo and underbarrel on the move
Now you can play with or against AI. You'll be able to play solo or with friends vs AI, or a mix with randos too. (Progression still enabled)
Big emphasis on vehicles. You can request a land vehicle delivery anywhere anytime.
Each vehicle seat will have a bigger role in this game. The more people, the more efficient the vehicle will be.
Biggest maps in a battlefield. Capture points are now broken up into multiple sectors. You have to take each objective in a sector to control it.
Dinamic weather (tornadoes and sandstorms).
More levolution and map interactivity
Biggest map is 5.9km²
4 classes (Assault, engineer, support and recon). Primary gadgets are locked to each but primary weapons, grenades and secondaries are not locked to classes.
The game will launch with 10 specialists that will fall under one of the 4 classes. They are like characters and each have a primary gadget. (For example one assault specialist has a grappling hook, and another specialist has the wingsuit).
Live service model with battlepass. 2 versions: Free and premium. Everything gameplay related is in the free tier. Paid tier is mainly cosmetics. Battlepass will include narrative.
First year is 4 seasons, one new specialist on each plus new maps and content.
2 New gameplay experiences. First called Hazard Zone. "High stakes game type with strong focus on tight squad play" (Not a battle royale).
Second is something specific built by dice LA as a "true love letter for bf players. Nothing known about it. More will be seen at EA Play next month.
