Huge time improvement to old record thanks to new skips, glitches and sequence breaks! This run is over 16 minutes faster than the old record and there were still two mistakes that lost me about 1 minute together. Otherwise this run was extremely solid. Time with loads was 2:12:22. - Intro + Semper Fidelis 0:00-2:55
- Operation Swordbreaker 2:55-21:14
- Uprising 21:14-27:21
- 23:00 Diving prone and sprinting immediately afterwards allows you to crawl faster in tight spaces, also used in the Operation Swordbreaker vent.
- Going Hunting 27:21-44:53
- Operation Guillotine 44:53-1:04:17
- 48:08 A small new skip skips the wait for the door to open. Can soft lock your game if you don't wait in the first room for a bit.
- 54:10-56:40 You can skip the whole tank section by running straight to the bank and jumping on some walls to get to the ladder. Matkovic will eventually walk to the ladder and then you just need to reload checkpoint after the game saves and you can boost him up.
- Comrades 1:04:17-1:14:01
- 1:06:15 You can skip cutting the wires by vaulting over cars and the gate.
- 1:07:35 Mistake #1, you can jump over the QTE trigger which saves about 15 seconds but it's really hard to do.
- 1:10:35 You can skip the elevator QTE by jumping over the fences.
- 1:10:50 You can phase through the bank wall because of the chandelier fall animation to get out faster.
- Thunder Run 1:14:01-1:27:08
- 1:17:00 New skip allows you to skip the whole MAV section if you time destroying the 2 T90s right. More details in my Thunder Run speedrun video description.
- Fear No Evil 1:27:08-1:34:04
- Night Shift 1:34:04-1:45:15 This level has been completely broken and is now 8-9 minutes faster than before.
- 1:34:23 Reloading checkpoint removes an invisible barrier at the first ladder. You can diagonally vault on taller objects, in this case Campo, and get on the roof. On the edge of the sign, go prone crawl forwards and sprint when right at the edge and you'll survive the fall. Afterwards use the balconies to get down.
- 1:35:38 Small out of map glitch skips the roof sniping.
- 1:36:54 Hit a trigger in the sewer which removes the forced death. Afterwards go through a wall on the right for a really easy out of map.
- 1:37:25 Jumping in the hole loads in the mall and exiting through the front door unloads some parts of the map.
- 1:38:08 Hit a trigger next to the sewer which loads and unloads parts of the map.
- 1:38:38 Hit a trigger at the door which loads in the last sniping section and Al-Bashir's trigger. Run to the trigger and kill all 3 enemies as fast as possible to get inside.
- 1:39:35 Hit a trigger at the stairs which makes the enemies spawn. Kill the last enemy of the first floor when Campo says "Here they come" to make the second floor enemies spawn earlier.
- Rock And A Hard Place 1:45:15-1:56:56
- 1:49:30 Abuse enemy spawns to get a checkpoint faster.
- 1:51:15 Destroy the 3 artillery trucks and abuse enemy spawns until they stop spawning.
- 1:51:45 Mistake #2 knife death.
- 1:52:45 Skip to the down hill section and abuse this specific enemy spawn which makes the 2 BMPs spawn earlier. This part has a risk of soft locking or crashing the game so it should be trained a bit before trying it in a full run.
- Kaffarov 1:56:56-2:06:52
- 1:59:10 Easy out of map right at the start. Run to Kaffarov's compound.
- 2:02:55 Hit a trigger which loads in the basement.
- 2:03:17 To get through these windows: move forwards, vault and while vaulting stop moving forwards. This should put you on the edge of the window and then you can crawl through.
- 2:03:45 You can jump through the window over the door. Same strategy as above is useful here in my experience (don't move forwards after jumping, only when on the ledge). The corridor after this skip has 3 important invisible triggers that load and unload parts of the map. That's why we need to go through the basement section and can't just run straight to the helicopter.
