After a good amount of hard work I'm happy to present to everyone a detailed concept for a new Battlefield 3 map entitled "Appalachia."

FEATURES:

-Unique Eastern USA/Appalachia setting (visually at least, the exact location can change to fit official canon)

-Massive, "Classic Battlefield" size

-Airport Control Tower flag spawns the only jet

-The high value flags (the airport) are surroundedby high ground and forest, plenty of areas for infantry to flank

-Strategic riverside and bridge control combat

-Teams can choose to fight over the airport, hold the peripheral flags in the mountains or control the river crossings and therefore control the flags across the river.
