It is very important that you support your squad , take time to choose the right class ,make sure your squad has a variety of different classes and not a squad of all the same classes.

You receive a lot of points for squad gameplay and it is really an easy way to rank up in the game. I found in Battlefield 4 squad gameplay is key to gaining a lot of points and there are many different ways you can earn them, so remember squad up and help your team mates .
