DICE PLEASE can we get this GAME BREAKING trigger-fire/melee glitch problem resolved???

I want to revisit this issue (at first I thought it was a problem with my console or controller, which after much testing with 2 different consoles and elite controllers I believe it to be a coding issue??...not a hardware related issue).

The right trigger button (fire button) is somehow tied to the knife/melee button. This happens at completely random times when you fire upon an enemy and it is extremely irritating and game breaking.

This has been happening to me since BF4, BF1 and now BF5...and I have heard from some people that this issue actually goes back to BF3.
