Battlefield Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Gameplay in 2023 on Server Shutdown Day! (December 8th, 2023)
26Well unfortunately that dreaded day has come, December 8th 2023 marks the end of the online servers for Battlefield Bad Company 2. This is the final battle I managed to record on the exact day the servers were shut offline. We have all had so many great memories the past 13 years on this incredible genre defining First Person Shooter and it is just so sad to see it go! This is probably without a doubt one of the best Battlefield games in the entire series and I really hope Battlefield can one day return to it's Bad Company roots. The physics and environmental destruction in this game are still unmatched by most titles on the market today! What I'm probably going to miss the most about Bad Company 2 is the vehicles, they just felt so powerful and strong compared to vehicles in later games in the series. The Bradley tank and the Mi-24 Hind were some of my favorite vehicles to mess around in. Luckily for PC players there is still a method to play this game after server shutdown and that is through a custom client called Project Rome! What Project Rome does is use custom/emulated servers that are separate from EA servers and it also gives you the Vietnam Expansion Pack for absolutely FREE, I will post a link below!
