Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Gameplay in 2023! (RPCS3)
9Thanks to the power of the PlayStation 3 emulator known as RPCS3, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is now fully playable via emulation! I'm running the game on an RTX 2070 and I'm able to upscale the game to 4k at a stable 60 frames per second without hardly any drops or interruptions. If you have more powerful hardware than that, then the experience should be even more smooth for you! Sadly it doesn't seem at the moment there are no multiplayer or online functionalities at the moment so it's strictly campaign mode only right now. Maybe in the future the developers/modders at RPCS3 will be able to work a multiplayer patch at some point. Advanced Warfighter 2 was such a classic in the Ghost Recon Franchise and I wish the series would return to it's roots one day. Important note, this is the CONSOLE version of Advanced Warfighter 2 running on a PC via an emulator, there is an official PC release of Advanced Warfighter 2 but it is strictly first person and is known to have a bunch of bugs/glitches. So if you prefer the console version but want to play on PC, it's best to go with the PS3 emulator known as RPCS3.
