Intel's next generation graphics architecture known as BATTLEMAGE will be launching later this year according to information gathered at an official ASUS presentation held in china.
Battlemage (BMG) is said to offer significant performance advantages over the first generation alchemist parts, putting it between Nvidia's RTX 4070 Ti or possibly GeForce RTX 4080 in gaming performance. Intel's Battlemage focuses on architectural improvements for its xe cores, cache structure and ray tracing.
There's also been a leak confirming that one sku (probably the mid range variant) will offer 14XE cores (roughly equiv. of 28 of the previous generation), 192-bit GDDR6 memory bus running at 19gbps and just over 450gb/s bandwidth.
Additionally, Intel's next generation arrow lake parts will consume signfiicantly less power (around 100W) to maintain high clock frequency according to the same event.
There's also been confirmation for Intel's Arrow Lake, Panther Lake and Nova lake archtecitures too.
