In Battletech using evasion and terrain to your advantage is key to getting the upper hand, moving during turns increase evasion making it harder for your mech to get hit while you can leverage jump jets to make devastating jump attacks on enemy mechs when you get close. Use water to cool off mechs that are overheating and hide in trees and behind mountains to help avoid getting hit. Battletech 2018 from Hare Brained Schemes offers Skirmish Single and Multi-Player PVP as well as an immersive campaign.
