This is the first mission of the Red Brigade campaign, where the playable character is the CCA Commander, which is referred to as the "Comrade", piloting a Czar Tank and leading an ambush against an NSDF Attack Force that is relocating their Recycler to a position in the Eastern Flank that would make the American attack unstoppable. The Soviet Scientists, however, recently developed the Golem Walker from the Cerberus Relic, that will be field tested to ambush the NSDF Recycler and destroy the American Outpost from where the Recycler is coming. The Golem Walkers represent the pinnacle of the Soviet technology, so the Comrade must be prepared to take on great responsibilities, such as maintaining the technical superiority achieved by the CCA.

Much of the early part of the mission is based on setting up the ambush for the Recycler, but after that, it's fairly easy to repel the NSDF attacks and build up a strike force to destroy the American Outpost.
