Bayonetta 2 (NS): Chapter VIII: An Ancient Civilization (Normal, All 14 Verses)
5Complications against that persistent Masked Lumen in the previous fight send Bayonetta and Loki splashing towards Hell, itself. Also known as Inferno.
The giant shell that lied in front of them was the Gates of Hell, itself. Loki was still determined to reach Fimbulventr, but he decided to postpone that goal for the Bayonetta's sake of unlocking those gates and rescuing her dear Jeanne. How kind of him!

The main goal of this Chapter is to shatter the massive diamond that surronds the gates. Loki will guide you towards special devices that Bayonetta can twirl to activate.
When they are activated, they will release warp gates that Bayonetta can jump through, and each will will speed up her fall and eventually give her enough force to try crack open that diamond.
Of course, since you're in Hell, you'll only be fighting some demons here, including some new ones. For example, Golem make a grand return with new forms.
Loki will also help in these fight, but don't let him get scratched up too much.

The devices you'll need to smash open the giant diamond will first need some special objects from Heaven, or Paradiso. You'll take portals into Paradiso, fight some angels there, then come back with items to activate the devices with.
This Chapter also has the first two pieces of a Gold LP of The Harmonious Blacksmith. The last one will be in the next Chapter.

Here's some missable Verses.
Verse 2 is a Muspelheim that inside a small room full of breakable pots. You can reach this from a lefthand side on your way upwards after Verse 1. The Mulpelheim has you kill all demon using only their own weapons.
Verse 6 is as far back as you can go in the level after you finish business in Verse 5. Head all the way back to trigger it before moving on with your collected broken pieces.
After Verse 7, there should be another Paradiso portal on the main path. Instead, jump behind it and collect the second LP piece, then try to go back in order to trigger Verse 8.
In the underwater section, there should be another Muspelheim against a wall. This is Verse 10, and it once again has you kill enemies while on pillars without ever touching the ground as they are destroyed by them.
Beyond the next portal after Verse 11 should be a THIRD Muspelheim as Verse 12. This one has you kill all enemies with a single combo. Remember to use your basic shooting as much as you can for this!

Verse 13 is one of the easiest Pure Platinum medals to get in the game. Just use Panther Within to dash up the spiraling stairs while the Golem is rampaging after you.
After Verse 14, you get to use one more series of diamond gates to finally smash open the Gates of Hell. Now it's time to just make the way into there!
