Part 8: Chapter 7 – The Ark
The craziness just keeps on coming. Seems whoever’s watching realizes that if you want something done right, you got to do it yourself.
Loki encounters someone looking like himself and somehow starts acting strange. His memories resurface and helps Bayonetta provide her with a shortcut into Inferno. Rodin meanwhile waits even now, as time is running out. Bayonetta is in the ark but encounters another menace: Insidious.
Insidious is a bit enemy and your skills with evasion are going to be needed. The good news is that you can go closer to it and damage its eyes. Once you damage it enough, use an Umbran Climax to punish the eyes and take it out. You keep going until you get to damage its face then take out the remaining eye, which has gone full on offensive. After you drain its health, do an Umbran Climax to finish the job. Unfortunately it decides to pull a last ditch effort to destroy the Ark. Loki helps out and take it down but a second insidious shows up to suck them in.
Thus comes the second part of things. This is where more of Inferno like Hatred decides to show up to bring heck. Yep. The same can be said in the Muspelheim and the difference is that Bayo opens fire to form a heart to take out the wall. Eventually we reach where Loki is but the Lumen Sage is in the way. You know what this means right? Another boss fight but we do get a little clue as to who he is as part of his mask gets cracked, revealing a blue eye. Not to mention some kind of lipstick.
We fight the Lumen Sage again. He’s faster and more persistent. Your use in evasion will be needed since he will attack relentlessly. The orb will crack causing the platform to move about. Just focus on giving it everything you have. Having Bat Within can help. Then both of them summon their monsters. Like the first fight, you know the drill. Just watch out for when he orders his monster to attack, making things get a little more insane. Eventually once you drain it’s health, he will unleash one final attack. Bayonetta must counter with a blast that’ll deflect everything and take it down.
That’s crazy but now we got to find a way to reach Inferno. We’ll hve to see in Part 9.
