Bayonetta 3 (1) - Phenomenal Affirmation
0Everyone's favorite witch is back! Years ago I covered Bayonetta 1 and 2 in celebration of her making it onto the roster for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, so it only seems fitting I cover the most recent game, no? That said...Bayo 3 has had its fair share of controversy surrounding it, and the reception has been mixed. I wasn't sure if I even wanted to cover the game on this channel for a while...so why the change of heart?
Well, we have a bona-fide Bayonetta spin-off with Cereza and the Lost Demon out in March, so I figured now is as good a time as any to strut my stuff on the catwalk of battle once more. And along the way I can maybe give my thoughts on the game and why it left a bittersweet taste in my mouth.
This first video is, much like most Bayonetta games, filled with a lot of waxing narration as we fight a mysterious foe with little to no context. All that stuff will have to wait until later! And just to be clear...this is a casual playthrough. I'm not gonna aim for 100% completion or get a Pure Platinum on every mission. I'll still go out of my way for some stuff, but I draw a line in the sand with perfection!
