BeamNG.Drive Two Wheel Stunt Montage (+Tuning Guide and Commentary!) [Gridmap]
BeamNG.Drive stunt driving on two wheels (driver's side high) with tuning tutorial and comentary. Two wheeling Roamer time was just over 10 seconds. Other stunt cars were Bruckell Moonhawk, Ibishu 200BX, modern Pessima, Classic Pessima Race.
Also known as skiing or a side wheelie, driving on two wheels is a classic maneuver that stunt drivers have been pulling off for decades. It's quite realistic in most ways, BeamNG as a stunt driving simulator, though expect to end up on your roof from rollovers a lot when practicing driving on two wheels in this physics engine due to a peculiar nuance of the sidewall tire physics.
I said what tuning I did to prep the cars at the end of the video as a sort of guide or how to tutorial, but I'll post it here as well. For best results, you want a welded differential, a roll cage, grippy but not twitchy wheels (racing slicks are excessive), and stiff tire pressure. I mostly saw 50 and 60 PSI as the max tire pressure available which is still 20-30 below what any guide will tell you to inflate the tires to, but you might want to back away from the max just a bit as the tires seem to act a little weird at that point. Also, if you don't know how I got the Serzari plate, just look at the bottom of the parts/configuration menu and you'll see a text box where you can change what's on the plates.
For my controls, I used a Logitech G27 racing wheel with the H-pattern shifter and 900 degrees of rotation. PC specs are a GTX 1060 and i7 4790K with 16 gigs of RAM. Edited and produced using Avidemux and FL Studio.
