beastmaster's gimmick is that he transforms into a raging beast whenever he gets hit with a lethal blow, and then transforms back to normal at the start of each floor. the beast form deals 4 damage and can dig tier 2 walls, so it's very powerful and vital to making this run fast. however, the beast form has a major draw back in that it takes 1 heart of damage every 8 beats it goes without killing an enemy
