The original Zelda is a game I had played many times as a kid and even as a teenager, but I had never beaten it, let alone get to the 6th-7th dungeon. But, that has all changed with this version of the game! Thanks to a hack of the original Zelda NES known as Zelda Redux, countless quality of life features were added such as different textures for bombable walls and burnable bushes, the sword swing from future titles, and an overhaul to the map system! This was the version of the game that finally allowed me to complete it!

If you'd like to try the game out yourself, you will need to source your own copy of the game, google "Zelda 1 Redux", and acquire the patch/patches.
