I uploaded this to show the setup and method I have been using to complete the hardest campaign missions in Galaxy Attack: Alien Shooter (GAAS). You may not have all the items needed for this yet though

This method is very effective as it stacks together a selection of buffs whenever you are defeated. You will need to spend gold/crystals to revive using this method but it should get you through most stages in the game

I use this method on the final stage in the game. I would not say this is necessarily the hardest boss, but the waves before the boss are definitely some of the hardest for a nomal difficulty stage
