23For anyone interested in the history of Cruachan, this was my first time in a recording studio with the band Crypt. Not my first band - that was P.U.S. but for me Crypt was serious, these guys were so much older than me at the time, I was 14, they were 18.
Crypt were WAY ahead of their time and should have gone on to bigger and better things. I left as I wanted to make more interesting music (pretentious little 14 year old prick, as if Crypt were not interesting enough). I played bass starting off in Cruachan but eventually brought in the Crypt 4 stringer John Clohessy who stayed with Cruachan for many years.
Sound is shite but for a bunch of kids in 1991 ... it's not really that bad!
