A beginner's guide to gathering in Black Desert. Gathering is one of the most important lifeskills as it can give you hard and sharp crystal shards which you use to upgrade your gear past +15. It's also great for getting stuff that doesn't get posted too often on the market such as meat and rough stones.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that once you start using magic tools, it's worth it to invest in a gathering weapon. Just buy any mainhand weapon with two crystal slots (Rosar/Krea) and slot in 2 Magic Crystal of Infinite - Durability's. These crystals do work on your gathering tool and allow you to use those precious magic tools for a longer period of time.
