Beginner's Guide to the Metroid Dread Any% NMG/No Major Glitches Speedrun
555This video goes through the current most popular route for the Metroid Dread Any% "No Major Glitches" category, with a focus on keeping it simple for runners who are new to the route, new to Metroid Dread, or just new to speedrunning entirely.
No Major Glitches allows the use of Pseudo Wave, Reverse Grapple, and Water Bomb Jump glitches but not some of the more advanced glitches like Camera Lock or Ledge Warp. It's a super cozy speedrun that's great for beginners!
Note that this video specifically excludes the recently-discovered "Short Boost/Air Walk" glitch, as even if it is allowed in NMG, it is not beginner friendly and changes the route dramatically.
