Beginning Lightsaber Class (Shii Cho) Lesson 1 - The Weapon & Safety
Hi everybody! I used to give this class online for purchase, but that website has altered its approach, and this class was removed, so now I offer it to you. This was a five-week course designed for children, so the lessons are slowly paced, beginning with this lesson on equipment & safety. It's nothing others haven't probably said, but here it is. I hope you enjoy!
Lesson 1 – the weapon & gear
Different types of lightsabers (depending on your needs)
• Toy Versions
o Short plastic toys w/ fully retractable blades (shoto size)
o Light & sounds plastic toys with/without collapsible blade & oversize hilts
o Other variations (combination hilts, spring loaded)
• Collectible Versions
o FX replicas (Master Replicas, Black Series, Disney products from Savi’s Workshop)
• Combat grade
o Available from custom saber manufacturers
Character prop replicas, manufacturers’ designs, or custom creations
o Empty hilts for display (or to install electronics yourself)
o Light only (“stunt” sabers)
