Behind the covers: White dwarf issue 78 - The Spunng Ones - Judge Dredd RPG
0Issue 78 of White Dwarf (June 1986) features a beautiful DnD-themed cover featuring a fighter and a pack of wolves. When this issue appeared, I was a cutie three-year-old, but I do have memories of finding it in a car boot lot and being obsessed with Doctor Who and Judge Dredd miniatures.
Looking through this is truly like delving into GW's murky past. There are unique Warhammer figures everywhere; they are still focused on DnD and other companies' products—they even do book reviews! There are adverts on every other page and price guides everywhere, and the classified pages are just unique.
