Beirut bombs fired at TV crew | 60 Minutes Australia
During s first assignment for 60 Minutes in 2006, Liam Bartlett travelled to the Middle East. It was a chance encounter on a deserted street in downtown Beirut, the ceasefire still some hours away, and two Australian born Lebanese brothers were telling Liam why they wanted to fight for the Hezbollah. Then, suddenly, they were under attack, a deafening barrage of Israeli bombs and rockets that left them scrambling for safety. It was the next to last, such attack on Beirut this week but after having spent time on both sides of the border, there's no guarantee that it won't happen again.
