Diversity, equity, and inclusion are powerful topics on the front of every business’ mind. It’s only in recent years that belonging has been incorporated into the mix, valuing the influence it has on culture, hiring, mentoring, and general business impact. Google’s Chief Diversity Officer, Melonie Parker, joins Peruvian-American global adventurer, mountaineer, social justice entrepreneur, survivor, and technologist Silvia Vasquez-Lavado to talk about her life experience, being the first openly gay woman to summit the highest mountain on all 7 continents, and the importance of belonging, as well as how to foster it in our own work and personal lives.
