The BenQ EX240N features a 23.8-inch MOBIUZ VA panel with 250 nits peak brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio and 72% NTSC color gamut coverage. The response time is 4ms (GtG) and 1ms (MPRT), which ensures high responsiveness in games. AMD FreeSync, Motion Blur Reduction and FPS mode are also supported. The EX240N runs at 1080p (1920x1080) resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, making it a good choice for a budget monitor.
In addition to the small but powerful MOBIUZ VA panel, BenQ equipped the EX240N with a pair of 2.5W speakers. Power consumption - 40 W. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting the EX240N to external audio equipment.
In addition, the monitor has single DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 connections. In other words, the EX240N is suitable for high refresh rate gaming on current generation game consoles, including the Xbox Series S. However, the EX240N can only reach a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz when connected to a PC via DisplayPort input.
BenQ has yet to reveal information about the availability of its new product, but has confirmed that the cost of the EX240N is $200.
