Renowned computer accessory maker Logitech G and Chinese company Tencent Games today announced a partnership to create a portable cloud gaming console with support for Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce NOW and more. Partners are planning to show the finished device this year.

Logitech G will deal with the hardware side of the device, while Tencent Games specialists will focus on the software side and service support. A full list of supported cloud services has not yet been announced, but the developers are already in close contact with the Microsoft and Nvidia teams.

According to the creators of the as-yet unnamed platform, the owners of their console "will be able to enjoy AAA games away from their consoles and PCs."

Since all processing of player actions and rendering of characters and the world around them will take place on the cloud servers of the corresponding services, gamers will not have to download and install games - they will be able to start the gameplay immediately after connecting to the network.
