By the end of week one i managed to get enough power to enter mapping. I tried to keep density above 160 and decent MF and Exp on top. I did farm a lot and leveled from 89 to 92.5 my Necro.
Mages build is decent, and the main advantage is that you can farm literally any map, and really just seat back and relax. Main cons - you have to avoid mele splash, pierce and most bosses.
