The most important thing here is we are an Elementalist.
This is the best ascendancy for the new skill - Lightning Conduit.
Since we are low life build we get 30% more damage from Pain attunement. The greatest weakness of the witch class is stun, so we have upto 80% avoidance. Another weakness of spell casters is a debuff known as silence from tormented spirits, so we are immune to it. Eldrich battery provides us freedom from mana problems and gives us an extra aura space with divine blessing. The best large clusters for this are storm drinker, doryani's lesson, overshock and snowstorm. If you are playing a crit build, pressure points and quick getaway nearly triples your damage. We are stacking power charges and our skills benefits from area of effect, hence we steal this ascendancy point of the occulist. Power charges are stacked from the passive tree, jewels and from our gear. I managed to stack upto 10. Since we are using badge of the brotherhood, we get the same number of frenzy charges as well. I needed this extra 50% shock effect to get the full 65% on shaper and pinnacle bosses. With inner conviction, we are getting another 30% more damage. Due to our ralakesh boots we still get frenzy charges. We are almost spell suppression capped to not get one shotted by big spell hits. And we have enough damage penetration till further addition gives diminishing returns. Finally, we stack all the crit multi as much as we can. For physical damage mitigation, we use artic armour and phys conversion items from our gear. Since we are an evasion based build, we benefit well with grace and flesh and stone. The flasks I have used are just perfect for this build. Just look at their descriptions and you'll understand.
