Morale of the story: While a great PvP system or beautiful graphics may be what makes people try out and play the game, it are things like the soundtrack that it will be remembered by. It pays to invest in your soundtrack and just let your composers do their thing.

DECO Online was one of the first titles to try and break with the generic 'point-and-click' convention that dominated (and still dominates) many MMOs throughout the years. It did this by means of an innovative combo-based combat system, which was quite a rare sight at the time.

While the game itself is no longer available, it can rest well in the knowledge that an ever-increasing amount of titles in the present day (Tera, Blade & Soul, etc.) now opt for combo-based/dynamic combat as well.
