Best Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Games of All Time | Pier Solar and the Great Architects (2010 Game)
Pier Solar and the Great Architects is a sprawling RPG that takes up 64 megabits (or 8 megabytes) on one of the largest Sega Genesis cartridges ever made. Pier Solar is a sincere love letter to 90s RPGs, drawing inspiration from classics such as the Lunar series and Final Fantasy. Pier Solar, however, has some flaws. Its dialogue falls short of expectations for people accustomed to the expansive games made possible by modern distribution techniques, and anyone familiar with the genre can predict the paint-by-numbers plot. But, despite its flaws, it's a fantastic example of 16-bit RPGs.
