In this video I show you the best SteelSeries Sonar settings for Roblox. These settings can be used to hear footsteps better or for immersion. I have found that adjusting one of the preset equalization settings sounds best across multiple Roblox experiences. This makes applying the settings easier and allows you to customize the sound quickly if you wish.

Typically, you will want to use spatial audio for immersive games, and turn it off when you’re playing a game where hearing where other players are is important. However, some people will prefer playing with spatial audio always turned off.

Once you have setup the Sonar game settings for Roblox you can duplicate the preset and save it as your own. Additionally, you can favorite the preset to add it to the favorites bar. Doing so allows you to apply the preset quickly if you want to switch to different settings in the future.

Additionally, I show you the best Sonar settings for your microphone. While this may not be important for some, it can be very useful for anyone using voice chat. One benefit is the ability to add equalization to your microphone. Fortunately, the preset options are quite good, helping clear up your voice and make your audio sound better. Although the best preset is typically Broadcast Low Pitch, you may prefer how your voice sounds with the Deep Voice or Less Nasal presets.

With Sonar you can enable Clearcast AI Noise Cancellation. With this turned on your microphone will sound better in Roblox as background noise will be removed. This is particularly useful if you don’t have a good microphone, or there is lots of background noise, such as electronic humming or a fan. Typically, having Clearcast Noise Cancellation set to 43 will work fine in Roblox. However, if your microphone is cutting in and out you can always move the slider to the left to correct the issue.

To get the SteelSeries Sonar Settings to work in Roblox you will need to change your audio device settings in game. This requires you to join a game and open the settings. If you use voice chat in Roblox then you will want to play an experience that has voice chat support so you can select your microphone as well.

In the Roblox settings you have the input device and output device options. The input device is your microphone and will only be used if you have voice chat. To get Sonar to work in Roblox you will need to select the SteelSeries Sonar - Microphone input device. However, for the output device you will need to select SteelSeries Sonar - Gaming.
