How to Set Up Roblox Authenticator – PC & Mobile
9In this video I show you how to set up Roblox authenticator. You can add authenticator to your Roblox account using the Roblox website. If you are on a mobile then you will need to go to the Roblox website and click the Continue in Browser text. This allows you to access the Roblox website rather than having to use the app.
Once signed in you will need to open the settings and go to the Security options. Here you will see multiple options. However, you will typically want to use an authenticator app to enable authenticator on your Roblox account.
To set up authentication you will first need to verify your identity using your email address or phone. A code will be sent to your email or phone, which you must enter before you can enable 2FA.
If you are using a PC then you will see a QR code. You can scan the QR code with your authenticator app. Once done you will see the account in the app, along with a code. To finishing setting up 2FA you will need to enter the code shown on your app into the provided box on the Roblox website.
On mobile you will see a code. This code will need to be entered into the your authentication app. Doing so will add your Roblox account and reveal a code that will cycle through. In order to set up authentication on Roblox mobile you will need to enter the code into the provided box on the Roblox website.
Once you have verified the code shown on your authenticator app, you will then be given a series of backup codes. These backup codes can help you gain access to your Roblox account if you don’t have access to your authenticator app. It is best to save your backup codes somewhere safe where you won’t lose them and no one else can find them.
After you have saved your backup codes you will need to check the box to say you’ve saved the codes then click the Close button. Doing so will finish the process, and your Roblox account will then have 2FA enabled.
