Through my 400+ hours of gameplay in mount and blade and around 100 hours in the game of thrones mod its not hard to tell that the archers and crossbowmen in this game are op. In vanilla it's the rhondok crossbowmen and in AWOIAF its the Riverland Rangers. Just playing a few hours into this mod you'll immediately realize that the archers in this mod are to be feared and will destroy your entire army before they can even get close without cavalry. If you are new to this game the first thing you should do is to upgrade your recruits to archers. This video shows 200 riverland archers vs 200 northernmen with the highest possible graphics.
