Betafield 4: Obliteration Tips & Tricks

-In Obliteration, there is a fairly significant down time after a bomb detonates, there is almost no need to spawn during that time, but if you do, make your way to the location of the bomb spawn. Trying to linger in enemy territory may not be too helpful as you don't know where the pubs will take the bomb.
-In Obliteration, you get access to the AA... USE IT! It is amazing.
-In Obliteration, you must go into the match with the mindset that your K/D is going to drop. The more you play the objective in it, the more chaos you will be involved in, and the more often you will be 3D spotted for the whole enemy team.
-In Obliteration on SoS map, when the bomb is on your opponent's side, turn on the bridge barriers. If the enemy happens to get the bomb back, and they take a vehicle to rush it over to your side, that will really slow them down.
-In Obliteration, play as Engi and Assault. Revives and health really help in all that chaos and vehicles are super effective against the bunched up infantry. Also, if the enemy bomb carrier gets in a vehicle, you are screwed if you don't have any long-distance AT personnel. Also, make sure to have that well positioned Recon with a PLD. If the enemy bomb carrier gets in a chopper of any sort, then it needs to be locked onto ASAP.
-In Obliteration, do all that you can to keep the bomb out of the water. While it is very possible to get it back out quickly, that water can be a time sink. Many of my rounds involved the bomb getting stuck out in the water and in one case I simply typed to my team to let them get it out and then destroy the poor soul that got it out.
Thoughts on Obliteration:
-Needs either a ticket count, or better a time limit.
-Bomb carriers and those near them should get points for holding the bomb and defending the player with it. Sorry helicopters and snipers, but it's the guys right next to them that save the day.
-There should be a slight delay on the positioning of the bomb carrier.
