Better than second game? - „Red Dead Redemption” review

Westerns… Westerns never change… wait a second… I’ve done this bit the last time, let me start over, by saying: no, the first game is not really better than second in grand scheme of things. But maybe I will interest you by saying, that in some aspects it suprisingly is better. You see, back in 2010 things were looking much different in entertainement than nowadays. We had more raw, unfiltered passion projects than now. Add to that „RockStar Games” that never gave a flying duck about what people who didn’t play their games complained about on the internet, no Sir they really didn’t. Mix it together and you got a recipe for a game that is very rare and very pleasent to play. It is in stark contrast to most of the new releases, which I can compare to cleaning windows on a beautiful day: sure you can enjoy the view and the feeling of a great day, but still you are cleaning windows, and I don’t know about you, but I would rather go for a nice walk and even hope for an unexpected adventure… but still, we are stuck cleaning those damn windows. I don’t wanna do chore that I do not enjoy, while interacting with a piece of entertainment, but looking at the popularity of chore simulator games, I guess many people actualy wanna do just that. This is a sick world we live in partner. Ok let’s review the game, cos hell it ain’t gonna review itself.
