YouTube has had its fair share of controversies with the adocalypses and bad press, but something that no one is acknowledging is the lack of attention given to fake advertisements on the platform, especially in the realm of fake mobile phone ads from china. Stolen IP's, copyrighted material, using the sounds and music from Super Mario Brothers, GTA V, Overwatch, RDR2, and many other major AAA franchises, but no one bats an eye because they are accepting money for the transaction. Yet if a creator made these transgressions, they'd be in a whole heap of trouble on the platform. That needs to change.
