This is a great headset with a number of awesome things I really like.
Firstly it has excellent, rich, bassy and warm sound. Decent positional audio too and it's loud.
You also have the choice of connecting via 3.5mm or USB, but the USB connection is key as it opens up things like the volume wheel and the augmented sound mode.
The headset mic not only sounds great - natural sounding - but it also blocks out a lot of external noise. Impressively so as it managed to block out my wife talking in the same room while I was recording.
Very good features for the price.
Ear cups do a great job of blocking out external noise so you can focus on your game.
Sadly though, the ear cups are just too small.

- Does the Augmented Mode also work on a console?
The Augmented Mode (as well as the control elements of the MMX 150) only works via USB, as this requires power. All devices and gaming consoles that use the USB standard also support augmented mode. Xbox is therefore excluded.
When should I choose the MMX 100 and when should I choose the MMX 150?
The MMX 100 is the right choice if you play a lot on the gaming console and want to connect via the controller. If you have a very good sound card, we recommend the MMX 100. If the additional features of the MMX 150 (Augmented Mode, Mute LED) are very important to you, you should rather use this one.
The MMX 150 has its strength in the USB connection. In any case, you will enjoy the sound in optimal quality and benefit from the Augmented Mode. The MMX 150 is therefore particularly suitable for PC or for Switch and Playstation, if the respective USB socket can be reached accordingly.
-How do the MMX 100 and MMX 150 sound??
The MMX 100 and MMX 150 share the same acoustic design. The sound can be best described as vivid and detailed. You can expect a powerful bass and clear treble with very good spaciousness. No matter if it’s fast-paced action, atmospheric sounds or speech: the MMX 100 and MMX 150 bring the sound of your games to life.
