I don't particularly like this game, but I got a request to show the end of the game and since I still had data at Quamdar, I figured I might as well. Looking back, I'm not sure how I ever played this game to the end. I remember it being one of the most tedious things I ever did. I picked it up after months and clearly had no idea what I was doing, so I went to get some vital items to prepare and checked an FAQ to remind me what it was I was even doing. Considering I completed the game originally at a lower level and with less items, I probably did it by the skin of my teeth.

Took me like an hour and a half just to find my way to the damn bottom of the dungeon because the random encounters are just nuts in this game. I got there and started the recording the second you enter the final chamber, so this goes from there through the two final battles and the ending. Just for kicks, I also recorded a "What If?" segment, which shows what happens if you agree to join Shutat and go from there, though it doesn't go through the whole ending process again. With a few essential items, the final battles are much easier.

This game had a great soundtrack though (by Motoi Sakuraba) and lots of potential; it's a shame you couldn't hear much of it unless you stood perfectly still in a menu due to fighting about every four steps. It's almost hard to believe that Camelot went from this to the acclaimed Golden Sun series, which I own every title. Anyway, enjoy.
