Many decry the humble Game Boy as being nothing but a device for playing dull puzzle games (except Tetris, as we all know it has the best version). But it's also home to plenty of action games like the focus of this episode of BEYOND THE SCANLINES, Trax - a game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Electrobrain in 1991.

Gameplay footage recorded from a Super Game Boy 2 connected to a Super Famicom (via RGB), fed into an XRGB-Mini. Watch this at 1080p60 for the absolute best quality!
