Beyond: Two Souls [9] - RITUAL
358Thus ends the Navajo chapter. Still wondering what this story arc adds to the overall narrative. I guess it's supposed to highlight the "monsters" that Jodie's constantly being harassed by, and their ancient, mysterious origins. Or maybe it was supposed to counter the "you can't fight a spirit" mentality that's been a theme throughout the game so far. Still, seems like an odd setting for the whole thing. It's a welcome break from the bleak laboratories and the feeling of being trapped inside institutional buildings for most of the game, but I didn't find Cory/Jay's family particularly riveting as side characters. I guess my thoughts on the chapter can be summarized as "/shrug".
