[BG2EE-TOB#159] Baldur's Gate 2 Palpatine in Throne of Bhaal - Ascension!
26The end of a saga my friends... In this episode we have a whole lot of emotions going on... There is anger, there is anxiousness, joy, immense sadness, exhilaration and longing.
Amelyssan is defeated after an extremely intense and tough fight, and it is time for Palpatine to fulfill his destiny! He welcomes the divine power by taking the legacy of Bhaal as his own, all of our enemies are defeated before us and Palpatine has ascended to become the new Lord of Murder!
I feel that I must take the time to leave some words here as this game and this playthrough definitely merit it, so *WARNING* long text ahead :p
When I first created my channel I always had the intention to share with anyone who might want to join me the joys of video games. It's something that has always brought me great joy as I grew up but have not always really had a great chance to share or discuss these things with others as sometimes the things that bring us joy are not always the same. I love video games, a lot of my friends loved football instead (heathens!!!) and the ones that also enjoy gaming don't necessarily like the same games as I do. By sharing these playthroughs on my channel I have had a chance to show you guys these things and was also able to hear about what you also like about them, learn from suggestions that you guys left me, teach some things I have learned along the way and been encouraged to make other Baldur's Gate related videos because of it.
When I started my channel one of the things that were always on my mind were: "I would love to do a playthrough of Baldur's Gate but it is a very long game, it's a complex game, it's an old game, and it has a whole lot of text to go through, I don't think I will be able to do it" and it is actually the reason why I didn't start working on Baldur's Gate right from the start and focused on some other shorter games instead. Having decided to go ahead with it and standing here now, at the end, I can say without a doubt that it was worth it! It brought me great joy making this playthrough, sharing the cool and silly things about it with you guys and I sincerely hope it brought some entertainment to you all as well :)
