Everyone knows the 3DO video game console...but not everyone knows about the cancelled 3DO M2! I have been doing my best to bring this rare and obscure retro gaming platform to everyone...and today I have something extra special...basically the entire family of 3DO M2 hardware all in one video! Retro gaming vaporware family reunion!

Patreon Thanks: Seth Peterson, John Thompson, Paul Daniel, Porch, Jon Anderson, RayceARoni, Kuranghu, Jason Hixon, Alex Tessler, Jonathan Leung, Martin Donlon, Tom Van Deusen, barabob, Steve Randall, Ahab, K-2, Renaissance 2K, Ivar Wennerhold, Adrien Sebbane,

People on the internet will tell you that the Panasonic FZ-21 is a prototype 3DO M2 console...and that would be wrong. It's actually a product Panasonic / Matsushita sold at retail as an interactive kiosk unit ala the Philips CD-I. Unlike the CD-I...this actually has games you would want to play...because this is just the 3DO M2 console in it's final hardware iteration...except not released as a games console! But that won't stop it from playing SOME games today...and hopefully a LOT more in the future!

Gaming is filled with obscure hardware but it does NOT get any more obscure than this! (ok MAYBE SNES CD) It took me ten years of active searching to find an FZ-21S1TK...but I found it and now I get to show you all! It would have been amazing to see M2 take on PS1, Nintendo 64 and even Dreamcast.

Plus we have the Panasonic FZ-35, a 3DO M2 with extra RAM, a DVD Rom Drive and a Hard Drive built in!

And of course the arcade board from Konami with Battle Tryst, Heat of Eleven 98, Total Vice, Evil Night and my fav game on the platform...Tobe! Polystars!

and maybe...just maybe...what is linked down below! That's right...an alpha development WIP conversion of Tobe! Polystars from the Konami M2 arcade hardware to home console hardware! That's right...the 3DO M2 is going to be getting releases :) we are making it a fully fledged console you can play actual finished games on...because it's what M2 deserves after Panasonic cancelled the 3DO M2!
