According to data compiled by Marco Mangelsdorf, the number of rooftop solar permits on Hawaii island decreased 56 percent compared to 2015. Data shows Maui County (Maui, Molokai and Lanai) suffered a 47 percent decline. Is a similar drop expected on Oahu and Kauai?
