A short presentation of Michael Abrash's Big Top, published by Funtastic, Inc. for the IBM PC in 1983.

Big Top is a circus-themed platform game where you take on the role of Wendell, a rookie acrobat who must retrieve the ringmaster's hats, and stop the resulting chaos.

Big Top was Abrash's last game for Funtastic before moving on. He would eventually come to work at Microsoft on graphics and assembly code for Windows NT and was hired by id Software in the mid-1990s to work on the 3D rendering technicalities for Quake. He returned to Microsoft to work on natural language research, then moved on to the Xbox team.
In 2014, Abrash joined Facebook as Chief Scientist, reuniting him with id Software's John Carmack, who was chief technology officer, working on Facebook's venture into AR/VR.

By many, Big Top is considered Abrash's best game of the CGA era.
