361Despite the prohibition of alcohol in Bihar, the largest liquor tragedies have been recurring in Chapra for the past three years. This year too, a major liquor tragedy has occurred in both Chapra and Siwan districts. In this incident, more than three dozen people have lost their lives across the two districts. According to the administration, the deaths of five people have been confirmed as a result of alcohol consumption. This time, the most affected areas are the villages of Brahimpur and Gandaman under the Mashrakh block in the district. A total of five people from these two villages have died.

बिहार में शराबबंदी है. इसके बावजूद भी छपरा में लगातार पिछले 3 सालों से सबसे बड़ा शराब कांड होते आ रहा है. इस बार भी सबसे बड़ा शराब कांड छपरा और सिवान में हुआ है. जिस घटना में दोनों जिला से तीन दर्जन से अधिक लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. इस घटना में प्रशासन के अनुसार पांच लोगों को शराब पीने से मौत की पुष्टि की गई है. इस बार जिले के मशरख प्रखंड अंतर्गत ब्राहिमपुर और गांडमन गांव के लोग सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हुए हैं. इन दोनों गांव से मिलाकर कुल पांच लोगों की मौत हुई है.
